The show was incredible in its entirety, including the guys they (Holopaw) were touring with (Witches.) I have to say though, the highlight of my evening was definitely getting to meet the talented Mr. John Orth. I'd been a big fan of John's for sometime now and meeting him was really cool, he was an incredibly nice guy that was excited to talk with me and wound up just giving me a free Holopaw poster that he had designed, definitely made my night.
The following day, during our search for awesome rollerblading spots, Dustin and I came across this really colorful angle iron ledge and just kind of knew we had to take a picture there, and picture taking we did:
After we'd had our fill on that ledge we went out and filmed at a couple more awesome spots around town. Towards the end of the day, we came across this crazy slide just hanging out at some community center complex, immediately is became very clear what had to be done.
So all in all, a very successful and fun weekend in Asheville.
I've decided on the lettering and am currently designing the logo for the video so the ball is moving in the right direction with GTH.
Also, if you've never heard of Holopaw or Witches you really should check them out, they are two pretty awesome bands.
