its been a week...

...and I ain't done shit.

Motherboard still hasn't been sent off, I haven't done any updates all week. I've been so bored and lazy lately.

So its time to get back on the ball. Its supposed to rain this weekend so we probably won't get much filming done buuutttt Boris from Russia has uploaded his Video "Color for Ya" so go give that a look, its a pretty sweet video CLICK HERE.

Anywho. I guess the motherboard is going in the mail on Monday and I'll hopefully have some shit to talk about that same day. So chop holler.

Blader Bootin' - 50th Post!!!

So the Motherboard they sent me is in my computer!!! But it still doesn't work, according to a local computer place here, they sent me a motherboard that was dead...things just don't want to work with my computer! Soooo I'm hopefully sending if off tomorrow for another 5 days and really hoping they get it right this time. Such a let down :(

In other news, this weekend was really awesome. On Saturday, Tim Taylor, Jeremy Lister, and Mr. Justin Oliver (Ollie), skated for just about as long as you probably work during the week and found alot of new spots and came thru with some really awesome footage. Also, I snapped this pretty sweet flick of my good bud Mister Lister:
Jeremy Lister

And on Sunday, we were rolling 12 deep with the likes of Phil Gripper, Adam Roberts, Adam Mcmanus and Kenny Owens, who by the way is filming for Say Word 4. We skated some really janky spots but, it made for really awesome video and a great time. Amidst all the craziness, I managed to shoot this photo of Thomas doing a wallride, with absolutely no room to spare:
Thomas Martin
I wish I could share some more of what happened this weekend but I don't feel like explaining it will do it any justice without something to look at along with it. So I'll just end on the wallride note.

We are sessioning in Columbia next weekend, so call, and come blade.

MoBoard and Such

Sooo....the motherboard is in hand and Oohhh so close to being back in my computer. My computer connect Tyler Wade, has been struck with the flu though so the computer being put back together is on hold until he recovers...get better soon man!!

I decided on the final Cover Design for the Promo DVD and here it is:
Somo Promo Final

I made some minor adjustments and I'm pretty pleased with the outcome. I was sort of worried about the cover art for SOMO but this design has definitely given me a relevant and steady direction to head in and you'll probably see something similar for the cover.

Also, I'm posting this edit my friend Johnny Ray made a while back because its amazing and its always fun to have something to look at.

So there is supposed to be alot of skating this weekend which is always exciting. So stay tuned for the updates and what not...ness. holler.

Help Decide on the Cover Design

So, hopefully, Adam will be able to hand out 20 or so Promotional DVDs at BCSD.

Buuuttt, I can't decide on which cover design I should use!

So....Help!

Which one and Why? Or just which one.

Cover 1
Promo Cover 1z
Cover 2
Promo Cover 2
Thank you for your time.

T Minus 1 Day

Sooo close, motherboard comes in tomorrow and and hopefully this solves my problems...if it doesn't...well then...I'm sort of screwed because I have absolutely no more money. So fingers crossed.

Anywho, I kind of took this weekend for myself and did some park skating just to get back in the swing of using my legs, I hate going more than a week without skating so it was nice to get out there and blade a couple of times this weekend.

As to not leave you with just text, here's a picture of Tim I shot on his 27th Birthday.
The All American Air:
Tim Taylor - 27 Year Air
It's not awesome but its fun, and that's whats up.

Also click here. Shot and Shopped by me.

Anywho, I'll be sure to update tomorrow/tomorrow night with wether or not I'm up and running. So stay tuned, I hear talk of a Boone Session this weekend, so I should have some goodies to bring to you.

Holler.

Productivity is Productive

Despite my roommate being investigated for Armed Robbery/stiffing me on rent/me kicking him out, this weekend was so awesome.

I didn't really get to skate Saturday because of all the roommate drama, but Sunday I got an early start and got alot done.

Let me first say, that Tim Taylor is amazing at rollerblading. His skating is solid, stylish, and impressive with a level of consistency that would blow your mind, watching him put together a line at a spot is like watching an artist transform a blank canvas into a masterpiece, its just amazing. (no homo)

This was the end of a line, 2nd trick of the day, skating his all new RB Solo Estilo's:

Tim Taylor RB Solo Estilo Impact Test

The session really went off after that, my long time friend Nick Bates came out to surprise everyone with his skating, Smiley came down and did a manly topsoul down a really high kink rail, and Tyler wowed and amazed us with his mushroom blading. It was such a fun time, I was sort of sad when the sun went down and the day ended...or so I thought.

Adam Called me at about 9pm for a late night session, at about midnight, he shows up and to both of our surprise, we got shit done. I also managed to capture this pretty sweet flick of him:
Adam Mcmanus - Full Torq

So it sucks that I had to miss the Boone session, but I guess the living situation was a little more important.

Also, Thomas Martin apparently banged up his ankle pretty bad so he is out of commission for the next month or so. :( But no worries I have alot of really good footage of him and definitely have enough for his section in SOMO.

So next weekend, I have to cover a shift on Sunday, and it's Valentines Day on Saturday, so it'll be busy but I'm sure I'll manage some skating in somewhere.

Either way, stay tuned.

You Motha...Board

Called ASUS to see what was up. It its aparently 1-2 days from being fixed, got delayed because of a snow storm there...awesome, after which it'll be here in 3-5 so I'm thinking sometime by next week, I'll finally have the ol comp back...holler.

That sweet pic of Mr. Martin is being used on that Team Rollerblade Website too, so check that out. And check out some of their product which are out now too. I have to admit, at first glance, I was definitely amongst the skeptics, but after seeing the new Solo line up close and personal and hearing the testimonials from Tim Taylor and Thomas Martin, I like what I see/hear...Tom is holding shit down, so kudos for a job well done.

Also, check this out DIRT.

Boone this weekend, holler.

Blade Doods

Another dope weekend with a bunch of my friends. No motherboard back yet, but no worries, its on its way...I hope haha.

The weekend started with my best bud Jeremy Lister and I do a little solo skating and filming for a little project he and I are working on. After a good couple of spots and some awesome blading, we head out to this obstacle Jeremy has been telling me about and upon arrival our good friends Tim Taylor and Tyler Wade happen to already be at this spot unplanned. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Mcmanus and Mr. Hinson joined up with us to finish the day out. A couple clips were had here and a few beers were laced, all in all a good start to a weekend.

On Sunday, Thomas Martin arrived around 1ish along with Jeremy and Dustin. After a quick "On Top" viewing we made our way to the first spot. I'd definitely have to say Thomas Martin held it down on his new RB Solo Eras. All day he was consistant and skated very dangerous things. Amongst his skating, he managed to Topsoul this super steep, super wooden, dangerous drop rail...thing check it out.

Mr. Mcmanus also had several very good rollerblading clips on the day and this rad, but shot mediocrely, Fishbrain:
So in a nutshell that was pretty much the weekend. I hear tales of a Boone Session next weekend so stay tuned and get ready for some fire...of the hot sort.
